More than a method...
more than a movement
It's a way of life
ROCK isn’t just a word—it’s a guiding principle and a powerful tool for parents. At Raising Rock, we believe respect, obedience, courage and kindness are the essential virtues that shape children into who they are called to be.
We know that parenting can feel overwhelming.
However, by embracing one simple word, you create a shared understanding of values, foundational truths and expectations in your home. This framework simplifies discipline, fosters meaningful conversations and helps children realign when they stray from the values you’re striving to instill. This one word has helped us immensely, and we pray it will help you too.
Join us as we shape the next generation—a generation of children who are rooted in virtue.

Instilling character in your child can feel like a lonely, uphill battle. But remember: Thousands of parents share your journey—including our founders.
About the founders
Ann and Elise are the mother-daughter team who created Raising Rock—and they’re living it every day.
It all began when Elise left the corporate world to be a stay-at-home mom for her two young boys. Despite her renewed commitment to motherhood, she quickly realized that shepherding their hearts, navigating discipline and instilling character was more challenging than she expected. Simply being present wasn’t enough—without focus and intentionality, the changes she longed for in her home never came.
Seeing her daughter struggle, Ann turned to the Bible and prayer, seeking wisdom, guidance and a tangible way to help Elise raise her boys.
That’s when the idea for Raising Rock was born.

Instilling character in your child can feel like a lonely, uphill battle. But remember: Thousands of parents share your journey—including our founders.
What started as a simple tool within their own family has since grown into a lifestyle and mission, encouraging moms everywhere to raise children with respect, obedience, courage and kindness.
Ann and Elise don’t claim to have it all figured out, but they have walked this path and experienced transformation in their homes.
That’s the beauty of Raising Rock—it’s not about perfection. It’s about staying focused, being intentional, and rooting our families in God’s Word so we can raise children who will go out and make a difference.
